Recently, the Provincial Forestry Bureau announced the second batch of “bird-watching sites in Zhejiang Province”, and Qingshan Lake in Lin’an was included in the list.
The bird-watching site of Qingshan Lake is located in the Qingshan Lake Wetland of Lin’an District. As an inland lake and river type bird watching site, it covers a natural wetland area of 1,000 hectares and is an important place for bird migration, habitat and breeding in the western suburbs of Hangzhou. There are over 260 bird species distributed in this bird watching site, and characteristic birds such as the oriental white stork, white spoonbill and paradise flycatcher can be observed here. At present, 3 bird watching houses and 5 bird watching platforms have been built.
