Recently, over 60 Changhua stone carvings were unveiled at the 1st Zhejiang Provincial Historical Classic Industry Exhibition and the 12th China (Zhejiang) Arts and Crafts Expo, which was held at the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Changhua stone carvings participated in the evaluation and won 16 awards.

It is reported that the Cultural and Creative Industry Development Center of the Propaganda Department of the District Committee has organized national, provincial and municipal level masters of arts and crafts as well as jade carvers from the Changhua Stone Industry Association to select high-quality works created in the past two years for the exhibition. From design concepts to carving techniques, every detail of the 60 Changhua stone carving works, which participated in the expo, reflected the spirit of inheritance and innovation of craftsmen. A total of 32 works from this expo participated in the evaluation. The Bird Rhyme and Lotus Fragrance created by Shao Chengxin, Majestic Posture and Versatile Appearance created by Qian Youjie, Dragon Soaring above the Four Seas by Qian Jiren, Natural Crafted Tea Fragrance Combination by Xia Linlu, and Striking My Root Deep by Fang Mingshan won the gold awards. Five works including Pastoral Style by Ling Donghui won the silver awards, and six works including the Maitreya Buddha won the bronze awards.

The person in charge of the Changhua Stone Industry Association stated that members of the association showcased their talents through this expo. In the mean time, the association has actively promoted industry exchanges and development and strengthened cooperation and exchanges with other districts.
