Recently, our district held a signing ceremony for a “military-civil joint construction” medical cooperation agreement. The 903rd Hospital of Joint Logistics Support Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) partnered with the Jincheng Sub-district Community Health Service Center, adding a powerful new force to our district’s medical services. This marks the first step in grassroots health cooperation, providing a new path for the high-quality development of grassroots medical services.
At the event, both parties signed the “military-civil joint construction” medical cooperation agreement. Following the ceremony, expert teams from the 903rd Hospital, including orthopedics, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, and proctology, conducted a free clinic, providing diagnostic services, health consultations, and medication guidance to Lin’an residents. “The expert suggested that I get a sleep study done and advised me on adjustments. It feels great not to blindly seek medical help,” said Yi Na, a resident with poor sleep quality and neurogenic tinnitus, who came after receiving a notification from her family doctor.
Some experts also visited Qianwangpu Village in Jincheng Sub-district, providing medical and health services to the villagers. He Zhaofang, a villager, had an ultrasound done in the mobile clinic van before consulting the experts with her results. “The expert adjusted my medication. I didn’t expect to receive provincial and municipal level medical services right at my doorstep. For us elderly people, it’s hard to travel far. Their visit to the village is very convenient and the service is thoughtful,” said He Zhaofang, giving a thumbs up.
The 903rd Hospital of Joint Logistics Support Force of the PLA, formerly the 117th Hospital of the PLA, was established in 1951. It is a comprehensive tertiary A hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, and health care, with rich experience in trauma treatment, medical cosmetology, critical care, chronic disease management, geriatric medicine, cadre health care, and rehabilitation training. “Next, the two sides will deepen cooperation in four aspects: resource sharing, discipline co-construction, home service, and scientific research cooperation, allowing Lin’an citizens to enjoy high-quality medical services at their doorstep,” said Yao Da, the hospital director. They will send the best experts to the community health service center for consultations, proactively provide free clinics, and engage in academic exchanges, regular ward rounds, and case discussions. They will focus on the main medical issues faced by Lin’an residents, collaborate on scientific research, and tackle challenges together to advance medical technology.
