On the 24th, accompanied by the sounds of gongs and drums and a lively lion dance performance, the Comedy Bay· Digital Cultural and Creative Park, located in the Yucun Tertiary Industry Building of Qinshan Community, Jincheng Sub-district, was officially signed and launched.

At the event, Yucun Joint-stock Economic Cooperative and Hangzhou Boyue Cultural Tourism Development Management Co., Ltd. signed a project operation cooperation agreement. The Comedy Bay · Digital Cultural and Creative Park covers an area of about 34,000 square meters, focusing on creating a comprehensive cultural and creative park that integrates film and animation creation, immersive theater experiences, a live-streaming industry base, new comedy formats, and complete living facilities. The park is currently in the internal decoration phase and is expected to officially open in August.

“With ‘comedy’ and ‘comedy+’ as the core themes, we aim to attract high-quality enterprises by providing first-class facilities, resources, and services, thereby creating a digital cultural and creative industry ecosystem where more people can realize their creative dreams,” said Li Tingjie, General Manager of Hangzhou Boyue Cultural Tourism Development Management Co., Ltd. According to the plan, the park will host the headquarters of Daxiao Haizhi and establish centers for youth talent, China-chic cultural and creative incubation, agricultural and cultural tourism live-streaming, and relevant commercial facilities. The park will also seek collaboration with Zhejiang Conservatory of Music to set up a teaching and training center, a faculty office area, and a student employment and entrepreneurship zone, leveraging the cultural and creative industry to stimulate and integrate the development of surrounding industries.

As a flagship enterprise of Comedy Bay · Digital Cultural and Creative Park, Daxiao Haizhi not only plans to move its headquarters to the digital cultural and creative park but also intends to develop new businesses and cultivate new formats leveraging the industrial cluster advantage. “The location is more convenient, just 500 meters off the highway exit, making it easier for audiences to come to watch performances. In addition to traditional comedy shows, we will also collaborate with other enterprises to create short plays and videos, conduct live-streaming and training, and strengthen the Lin’an comedy IP,” said Guo Jiangtao, General Manager of Daxiao Haizhi Cultural Media Co., Ltd.

One project drives the development of an area. As a tertiary reserved land project, the Comedy Bay · Digital Cultural and Creative Park, once operational, will inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Lin’an’s cultural and creative industry and bring substantial income to the collective economy and residents of Yucun. A relevant official from Jincheng Sub-district stated that the next step is to continue to provide meticulous and comprehensive services, accelerating the transformation of “paper agreements” into concrete investments and actual benefits. The goal is to make Comedy Bay · Digital Cultural and Creative Park a gathering place for the cultural and creative industry in Lin’an, the first choice for high-level cultural and creative talent entrepreneurship, and a source of innovation and creativity in the digital cultural and creative industry, thereby building a comedy cultural and creative industry ecosystem and a distinctive tourism route that radiates across the region.
